ACEC Illinois Donates Hand Sanitizer to Medical School
ACEC Illinois donated hundreds of bottles of hand sanitizer to Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and other first responders this week. The items were delivered by Springfield Representative Tim Butler.
“In late February, in anticipation of association events this month, we ordered over 1000 bottles of hand sanitizer for our members,” said ACEC Illinois Executive Director Kevin Artl. “As it arrived this week, it was evident that it could be put to better use immediately.”
In addition to the bottles delivered to the SIU School of Medicine, the M.O. donated hand sanitizer to the police departments of Naperville an Glen Ellyn.
“Our first responders and health care workers are at the frontline—protecting and caring for all of us–and ACEC Illinois was honored to make a small contribution towards their protection,” Artl said.
