Do you and your associates find it daunting to keep on top of ever-changing contract clauses that you are asked to review and accept? Do you feel that contract clauses are confusing and seem to place an undue burden on you as the structural consultant?
This Contract Clause Review and Commentary tool is intended to assist in your review of contracts and potentially alert you to clauses that may be problematic. Although not totally encompassing for all potentially onerous or problematic clauses this tool highlights several clause types that occur often and may cause concern. This tool does not refer to specific contract clause language but highlights area or topics of concern. Strategies to mitigate the concerns are provided. References to proper agreements and/or contracts are also indicated.
