In the superheated struggle for competitive advantage, many firms have focused on talent as a key to their success. Competency models are highly useful tools to guide many aspects of your talent management strategy. Not only do they ensure that employee are doing the right things, but they help organizations align behaviors and skills with the strategic direction of the company. In this session we will examine the benefits of competency models, learn how to build the models and review several examples of their application.
