Committees
The purpose of the Committee, which is constituted every three years, is to produce a proposed three-year ACEC budget for consideration by the Board of Directors.
The Committee will help drive the engineering industry’s workforce agenda through identification, development, and execution of workforce related priorities, programs, and legislative advocacy efforts.
The purpose of the Market Intelligence Committee (MIC) is to identify and analyze key market developments and trends that impact the engineering industry.
The Technology Committee’s purpose is to raise awareness of the business impact of technology on ACEC member firms and advance the engineering industry.
The purpose of this Open Committee is to drive the engineering industry’s energy agenda through the development and execution of a proactive legislative and regulatory advocacy program.
The purpose of this Committee is to review and recommend changes to the ACEC Professional and Ethical Conduct Guidelines and Disciplinary Procedures; and when formally directed, review alleged violations of the Guidelines, schedule hearings and recommend appropriate action.
The Planning Cabinet’s members are appointed within ACEC. The cabinet is tasked with helping to guide the Council’s strategic direction in line with its strategic plan and related governance.
The purpose of the Committee is to select nominees for ACEC national office; direct the preparation and distribution of nomination invitations and other election materials; and advise the Chair of ACEC upon completion of the nominee slate in accordance with the ACEC bylaws.
The Government Advocacy Coordinating Committee is an appointed committee within ACEC. It is tasked with guiding the Council’s overall advocacy strategy.
The purpose of the Committee, consisting of accomplished and recognized leaders, shall enhance the image of the profession by undertaking activities including recognition programs, outreach educational programs, assistance to ACEC groups, and involvement with senior management of ACEC firms.
