Committees
The purpose of the Committee ensures that ACEC conducts a high-level Engineering Excellence Awards program; recognizes outstanding engineering achievements; and promotes the portrayal of these achievements to the public.
The purpose of the Committee of Past Chairs is to inspire the next generation of ACEC leaders, provide continuity to the organization by giving historical context for issues, and support the current Chair in his/her role.
The purpose of this Appointed Committee is to grow the Affiliate membership and provide a voice to Affiliate Members in the development of programs and opportunities to engage with the ACEC firm membership.
ACEC’s Political Action Committee (PAC) Champions, under the rules of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), oversee the recruitment of ACEC/PAC supporters in their state Member Organizations to support federal Congressional candidates.
The purpose of this Open Committee is to assist member companies and others in developing and carrying out ACEC’s advocacy agenda in water and environmental markets.
The ACEC-AASHTO Joint Committee is tasked with issues that intersect with both organizations. It is open to all ACEC members.
The Transportation Committee is open to all ACEC members and is tasked with promoting the Council’s advocacy regarding transportation infrastructure.
The purpose of the committee is to undertake a proactive legislative and regulatory advocacy program in the areas of tax, finance, employment policy, and other regulatory areas on behalf of ACEC member firms.
The purpose of this Open Committee is to assist member companies and others in understanding and managing risk and, on their behalf, to advocate changes in legislation and regulation to properly control or allocate risk.
The purpose of this Open Committee is to serve as the Council’s primary vehicle for securing new members and retaining existing members.
